Curanail is one of the longest serving commercially available treatments for nail fungus.
Its correct description is Curanail 5% Nail Lacquer Amorolfine - it does contain chemically produced substances.

What is Curanail
Curanail is an over the counter anti-fungal paint on solution that contains the active ingredient Amorolfine. Amorolfine is an effective antifungal substance previously only obatinable via GP consultation and subsequent prescription.

How To Apply Curanail
File down the infected area of the toenail or fingernail
Clean the nail surface using one of the supplied cleansing swabs or cotton bud
Apply the nail lacquer over the entire nail surface using one of the supplied re-usable applicators. Allow to dry for approximately five minutes.
Curanail 5% Nail Lacquer should be applied just once a week. It is of upmost importance to continue using the nail lacquer until all visible signs of the fungus has cleared and healthy nails have grown back.
This usually takes 6 months for fingernails and 9 to 12 months for toenails.
The ingredients are mostly chemically formulated and include the active ingredient amorolfine.
The other ingredients in the solution are: methacrylic acid copolymer, triacetin, butyl acetate, ethyl acetate and ethanol.
Side Effects, Precautions and Warnings
There should not be a serious risk to health as posed by some of the pharmaceutically anti-fungal products although some sufferers have experienced a slight burning sensation.
Treatment should be reviewed every 3 to 4 months.

- Anyone aged under 18
- Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding
- Anyone with an infection affecting several nails
- Anyone who has ever suffered an allergic reaction to amorolfine or any of the other ingredients in Curanail
